Oliver started pupillage in September 2024 and is currently under the supervision of Alicia Tew, where his main focus has been on solicitors’ and valuers’ negligence claims. His first seat was in clinical negligence, where he was supervised by Catherine Ewins.
Oliver obtained a Distinction in the GDL and an Outstanding on the Bar Course, winning the Bar Council Law Reform Essay Competition. His first degree was in English where he graduated second in his year. Before pupillage, he developed practical experience as a paralegal for a barrister specialising in personal injury and clinical negligence. Oliver’s interests outside work include reading, cycling and music.
