David Pittaway KC spoke and co-chaired with John Howell MP, Chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group for ADR, a Westminster Legal Policy Forum conference on the Future Direction of Dispute Resolution, whose speakers included Lady Justice Asplin, Judge in Charge of ADR, Rebecca Clark, Chair of the Civil Mediation Council, Brett Dixon, Secretary of APIL, and many others. It brought together major players in ADR to discuss what Asplin LJ said required a change of attitude as to how disputes need to be resolved in the future. It followed up on the conference at the University of Leicester in December 2022 at which David also spoke, where Sir Geoffrey Vos, Master of the Rolls was the principal speaker.
